Step 1: Carrier Evaluation
Extensive industry research is performed on every new carrier to verify a sterling track record for reliability; Proper insurance is also confirmed.

Step 2: Driver Evaluation
Any driver transporting Burleson freight must submit to extensive background checks and drug testing.

Step 3: Equipment Evaluation
DOT records are searched for violations and service failures for each truck in the prospective fleet.

Step 4: Lane Pattern Efficiency
Once approved, carriers are carefully evaluated and categorized by their most efficient routes.


Step 5: Freight Pick Up
Burleson Account Managers work directly with the carrier to ensure freight retrieval under customer specifications including time and location.

Step 6: Constant Communication
Once in route, constant communication between Burleson Account Managers and the carrier ensures on-time delivery.

Step 7: Receiving Scheduling
Burleson Account Managers work with Receiving to schedule deliveries and eliminate freight detention.

Step 8: Internal Scoring
Carriers are constantly monitored and scored for performance, promptness and courtesy.
